Track Spikes (Sprints)

There are many new track spikes that are avaiable in the market that are suited for sprints. There are entry and elite level spikes. Begineers should stick with the entry level spikes because they are generally not as aggresive as the elite level spikes. However I love my elite level spikes which are the adidas prime finesse. The lightness of these spikes are amazing and with my neon yellow color way makes it stand out on the track. It has a stiff spikes plate which allows for more recoil when I am sprinting and also it would hold up better when I start by not being flismy when I push off of the starting blocks. Another good choice would be Nike and their famous g5 spike plate which has been known to be the best spike plate ever created. I have never purchased these spikes that includes a g5 spike plate but I have heard of its aggressiveness and also its great stiffness which makes it great for running sprints at high velocity. However on the downside nike sprint spikes are generally much more heavier than here adidas competion. There are also many other companies that make great sprint spikes like Brookes, Saucony and Asics. In conclusion the things to looks in a sprint spikes is one, the spike plate, the spike plate it the one that makes a shoe that costs 50 dollars to 100 dollars. Second the weight, the lighter the shoe the faster that you will run. And three the fit of the spike, you want your spike to fit exactly like a glove. Nike does a great job with this in the fact that they use the flywire technology and also adidas does a great job also with their use of the sprint web which reduces weight and also helps prevent the foot from sliding inside of the shoe which can be the most annoying feeling in the world and can also result in slower times.

Basketball Shoes

Many people question about basketball shoes like which one has the best cushioning, comfort, durability and etc. In my opinion I think that Nike still has thee best basketball shoes because of its technologically advances basketball shoes. They have an advantage over the competition because first of all they have a variety of cushioning systems like Air Max, Zoom, and Zoom Air. Also they have other advances on the upper with flywire and they also created the carbon fiber plate to support the foot. But don`t count out the competitors like Reebok, Adidas, Peak, and Li Ning. Reebok also has their new shoe with the new zigtech technology. But the cons of Reebok is that it only has 0ne shoe with the new zigtech technology and they also look kind of ugly. Adidas has a larger variety of basketball shoes. They have more varieties because it has been around more than Reebok because they pretty much own Reebok now. They have these new pods on the bottom of their shoes which I think looks kind of weird, but I have heard a lot of great things about the pods. Adidas also has a new technology called adiprene which is a cushioning system something like Nike Air, Nike Zoom etc. In conclusion Li Ning and Peak are the new basketball shoes made and created in China. They are both making a jump into the American market and even worn by some great NBA basketball player like Kevin Garnett and Kevin Love. Also a fun fact that I learned was that the shoes that Amare Stoudemire is wearing since he was a New York Knick are actually training shoes. Kind of hard to imagine a player scoring thirty something points in shoes that aren`t even engineered to be playing basketball in them. They are called the Nike Huarches trainers and they might look like basketball shoes, but look closely, the box says trainers and they are made to be used outside.

Hit in the head with a basketball

Has any of you guys get hit in the head with one of your friends because they think that it is funny. Well my friend got hit in the head with a basketball and it is hilarious! But if it was me I wouldn`t be laughing. It all started after a sleepover which I didn`t go because I had better things to do. When they woke up they went to the park to film something. Then all of the sudden my friend made his shirt into a bra and he ran down the hill screaming and my friend hit him the head with a basketball hard. 2008 Summer Olympics

The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing was amazing. Probably the best Olympic Games for a long time. The Olympic Games consited of steller record breaking performances, amazing distplays, and many more. This Olympic has made many Chinese proud that they are Chinese including me. They have given out many medals ( most of them belonging to America, but the most gold medals belonging to China.) This Olympic made many new stadiums including the Birds Nest to your left, the Water Cube, and many more jaw dropping stadiums. This Olympics have made the world come together as one and to enjoy sports. With giving out many traditions of China. The Chinese goverment spent a lot of money to get these games under way and they got a lot back with gold medals and advertisments. In my opinion, this has been the best Olympic Games in history. I think that there won`t be any better action than in the Olympic Games in 2008. Take that London.

Houston Rockets in the 2009- 2010 season preview

The Houston Rockets in next season will turn into a playoff contending team to a team that will probably not make the playoffs. It is because the Rockets will only have Tracey McGrady and Trevor Ariza. Plus to make it worse Yao Ming is out for the whole next season due to injury. And Dikembe Mutombo is retired because of the career ending knee injury and to insure that he is not coming back, he is 42 years old. Now the Rockets have got a skinny and weak 7 footer named David Anderson. He has been playing in a Spanish team for all that time. He was in the 2002 NBA draft, but he was no good so he went back to Spain to improve. Now he has to step up because he is pretty much the only pure center in the Rockets this instant. But don`t worry about the point, it is being covered by a young but talented point guard named Aaron Brooks. He has been a surprise for a lot of people. Seems like for two years straight, 2007 and 2008 draft the Rockets have chosen great playeers, Aaron Brooks and Nicholas Batum both starters. Lets just hope that Chase Bulinger will do some good for the Rockets. Also Trevor Ariza is a good player, but he is only good because the Lakers made him good. The only reason for the Ariza, Artest trade is because Ariza is looking for the money and Artest is looking for the ring. I hope the Rockets could get a decent run in the 2009-2010 season, but I am sure that they will be better in the 2010-2011 season because Yao is back, but they might lose him.

Michael Jackson used to play basketball

That is true the late great Michael Jackson played basketball with Michael Jordan in the music video Jam. Michael Jordan teaches Michael Jackson to play basketball while Michael Jackson teaches Michael Jordan to dance. Michael Jordan has an advantage in basketball, but Michael Jackson was ruling the dance floor. This is a great video that you should watch for basketball fans who like music. And I saw the making of it. Michael Jackson can shoot. Maybe from when he was a kid he used to shoot hoops somethings on privite property. When Michael Jordan was about to shoot Michael Jackson climbed on his back in the production. The music is also great, pretty much any songs from Michael Jackson is amazing. The Freak

Tim Linecum also known as the freak will blow you away. He is a pitcher for the Giants and he can throw a 98 mph fast ball and get this he is only 170 pounds. How is he so afficiate? Well he has a unique pitching style. He has a bigger stride than other pitchers. Other pitchers stride is around 77% to 87%, but Lincecum`s is around 129%. He uses all the power he can in his muscles to throw the ball. That is why his dasd doesn`t want the pitching coaches to change his style. Even I try to use the style, and it works! I guess if that pitching style gets him too be a allstar starting pitcher then it is good enough to be a normal player. He uses this style by using the trouque from his body to throw the ball. I bet if he throws normally, he won`t even be in the Mlb. Lincecum is truly a freak of nature.

Yao Ming

Did you hear that Yao Ming might never come back in the Nba? Yeah that might be true, but I think that he will come back, but probably not next year. Yao is a hard working center and a nice guy. You want these guys to succeed not wanting them to suffer a career ending injury. It is just not fair. I think that Yao has been a great ambassoder for his country and proved many wrong. The reason for the injury is because his feet are too small and weak for his heavy and big body. He is probably not the strongest center in the game, but he is the most skilled. Some centers like Shaq and Howard only grab the ball and dunk, but Yao can shoot the far shots and lighting up the score board. Lets just face it the Rockets need Yao Ming. If the Rockets had Yao in the semis facing the Lakers they could have probably won because the Rockets needed a big man grabbing the rebounds and boxing out a player. The Rockets also didn`t have Tracey McGrady. I think that it is a shame that Yao had to get injured and I will hoped that he will come back. And win the championship soon because he doesn`t have enough time left until the end of his carrer. I hope he doesn`t he will be like Malone, Stockton, or Barkely who are great Nba player, but never gotten a ring. He will be know as a legend and an icon in China and the world. Also Yao Ming was an Allstar starter in 2003 when he was a rookie that was the 2nd time all time first to Grant Hill. So basically Yao should get stronger or he would get a lot of injuries. If Yao takes better care of himself then he would last longer and if he puts some sort of a brace on then he would have less chance of a injury.

Best WNBA Player?

Who do you think is the best WNBA player. Well many people talk about Diana Taurasi or Parker, but in my opinion is Becky Hammon. Yeah that`s right. I pick Becky Hammon because she reminds me of an Nba basketball player named Steve Nash. With her passing and scoring ability she makes the perfect point guard for the WNBA. She can take it in the hole or lighting it up on the three point line. I think that she is even better than some men basketball players in college or even the Nba. I think that she should have gotten picked in the USA basketball team. But they didn`t want her. I expect her to be in the Allstar game. She is probably the best player in my option in the WNBA. Completely under rated. They didn`t even let her play for the USA national team in the Olympics so she played for Russia. I don`t think that people should call her a trader because all she wants is to play in the Olympics and she had the chance and won the bronze medal. Better than nothing. She is in her thirty`s and I don`t know how much longer she can play. But when she retires she will be in the Hall of Fame. A lot of people have put her down in her carrer by saying that she is not tall enough because she is only 5'6 or not good enough, but she has proved those people wrong. Also she broke the free throw record for a woman in 2008 at the Slam Session in New Orleans. And probably was the best shooter in the Allstar weekend and yes better than Duncan and Robinsion. If you try to compare Hammon with Sue Bird it would be smart to choose Hammon because she can score better and a better shooter. Also she make it in the Allstar game in 2009 and also a starter with the most votes than any guard in the west. I expect her to be a great player in the future and she has a lot of game still left in her.

Nba Draft

The Nba Draft is coming up tommorow and who is overrated, who is a steal and many others then you are on the right blog. The big news is Blake Griffin, but in my opinion is that he is overrated. Why, well he is more of a power player and that is fine, but when he gets older he will have to shoot the ball well. But unlike some players like Shaq, he is still a power player, but he is just stronge and big. The only way Blake can play like Shaq is when the gets bigger. The big steal will probably be Tyler Hansbrough because I think that he will make a big impact on the court by grabbing rebounds and passing. I think he won`t be a starter in his rookie season, but he might be a good sixth man. The good thing that Griffin and Hansbrough has is that they are tough kids and they have perseverance. Ok well I am a little out dated , but in my opinion I think that the best player in the draft is Rubio. He is a great point guard and skilled as well.
